1. Event Overview
The Pakistani Students Association & Brooklyn Kites are pleased to present the 1st Annual
Jashan-e-Baharaan – The Festival of Colors of Kites, a family-oriented community
celebration bringing together families, children, students, and local community members for a
day of Pakistani culture, kite flying, games, entertainment, food, shopping, and family activities.
The purpose of this event is to create a welcoming community gathering where families can
enjoy traditional Pakistani kite-flying culture while also participating in recreational activities and
supporting local vendors and small businesses.

We plan to invite local businesses and vendors to participate, including:

Other appropriate community and cultural vendors
Vendor participation will provide local businesses with an opportunity to connect directly with
families and community members.
4. Community & Cultural Goals
The Jashan-e-Baharaan festival is intended to:
Promote Pakistani culture and traditions
Introduce younger generations to Pakistani kite-flying culture
Provide a safe and enjoyable family event
Bring students, families, and community members together
Support local businesses and community vendors
Create opportunities for community organizations and sponsors to participate
Encourage positive recreational activities for children and families
5. Admission
General Admission: $10 per person
Children and families will have access to the community festival atmosphere, entertainment,
games, and activities. Certain vendor items or attractions may have separate costs.
6. Sponsorship Opportunities
We welcome local businesses, organizations, and community partners to sponsor the 1st
Annual Jashan-e-Baharaan.

7. Requested Community Support

organize a well-managed, family-friendly cultural festival that brings the community together
while promoting Pakistani heritage and providing positive recreational activities for children and
families.

event regulations, and we will coordinate with the appropriate authorities regarding event
requirements.
